Signed Performances In Theatre SPIT

Interpreters
(Search interpreters list)

Wendy EbsworthOne of SPIT's objectives is to raise standards of BSL interpretation in theatre. A suitably trained and qualified interpreter is fundamental to the provision of high quality BSL interpreted performances. SPIT strongly recommends that arts organisations only engage interpreters who are CACDP or SASLI qualified, registered MRSLI or TI; or ASLI licensed or associate members. A track record in interpreted performance is also recommended.

If you wish to book an interpreter you will need to contact him or her direct, negotiate fees and contract appropriately. SPIT does not act as an agency for interpreters.

Some interpreters have chosen not to have their personal details displayed. A more comprehensive list is available. Please contact us for a copy.

This is not an all exclusive list. If you know other qualified interpreters who might wish to have their details included please ask them to contact us.
